Unhappy Can't happen i'm to carefull

So my little skinny bp has been doing great he's been eating well even if he only wants live hoppers but I still check in on him every morning, when I get home from work and a couple more times before bed. I have been paranoid ever since I got them about 1 getting out and me not finding it so every time I pass there tubs I check to make shure they are closed. Evidently Wednesday morning the towl I have over the tubs to keep in the heat got caught in the lid and I didnt see it I came home that night and was going to try to get himbto eat a f/t mouse and he was gone. My house is a bit on the cool side so after hours of taking the house apart I set up a 6qt tub with bedding from my rat cage and one of his hides and his water bowl and a heat lamp hoping he would come out. So far no luck so tonight I start with the room he was in and remove everything and see if I can find him. My first thought is he cant be gone I'm to carefull but evidently I'm not.
I hate to see any of my snakes escape but why did it have to be the one I was so attached to.

Darn, hope you find her! It really does happen to all of us, eventually... Accidents happen.

Try laying down a line of baking flour/powder across each doorway and hallway and closet doors, and check every few hours to see if one of them has been disturbed. The flour will be dragged in the direction she went, and you can narrow down the area. In fact, the more flour borders you lay down, the easier it will be... it'll just be a mess afterward LOL.

The one time it happened to me, thankfully I still lived in a small and uncluttered apartment, so I found her within a few minutes.
