While researching information about rheostats (I'm about to buy one to upgrade from my $30 Hydrofarm thermostat), there was a source that said PULSE proportional is better for a ceramic heat emitter compared to DIMMING proportional. Can anyone verify or disprove this? Because I am using a ceramic bulb (along with a heat mat) for my ball python and I want to make sure I get the appropriate rheostat. Thanks!
