    good and bad news

    good news:

    she laid 11 eggs

    bad news:

    10 slugs

pairing was bamboo YB x pastel, so hopefully that one good egg is a female with all 3 genes

That's bad, been there though a few years back, only one egg everything else were slugs and by some crazy luck the one egg contained a combo that was a 1/16 chance so maybe you'll get lucky.

Oh man, I feel for you That has got to be disappointing after going through the whole process and then for that to happen. Well try to stay positive and lets hope that one turns out to be the best combo you could of hoped for.

Is there any reasoning or explanation why this would happen? Like a male that didn't have good seed or something like that? Or is it just a fluke and just bad luck?

Wondering if you have suspicions on why it happened? I'm curious how old your female is?

Eleven eggs is a very large clutch! That good egg is a "diamond in the rough", for sure.
Stay in peace and not pieces.
