Worry or Not Worry?
If you read my "Oh Happy Day" thread, you know that Kashmire fed today! Yayyyyy! Anyway, I know they need underbelly heat to digest. Kashmire's been in his cool side hide since he fed.
Will he be able to digest ok? I'm not planning to go into his enclosure except to mist or change water for the next 48 hours at LEAST, and of course, no handling of him at all.
In fact, he hasn't used his warm side hide much lately (used to be his favorite). Temps are still constant 92-94 on warm side and 82-84 on cool side. Humidity between 50 and 60.
Thanks! Yet another newbie question!

Re: Worry or Not Worry?
He's fine ... those are the right temps, let him pick where he wants to be.
I'd lay off the misting for now (at least until he digests) .... could be a stressor with a new snake and you really need him to hold down that food this time!

Re: Worry or Not Worry?
Thanks Adam! No misting, just will watch his water bowl to see if I need to add any water for him.
Thank you again, for all your help! I was just on your website drooling over your snakes! LOL
Can't wait for the day when I'm ready to add another snake...be ready for my call at that time!
Kashmire goes in for his second de-worming on Thursday, so that should be long enough for him to digest, right?
Next feed, should I just stick to one weanling, or see if he'll take two? I don't want to power feed him (or is that what I just did today)? It's just he looked so lean to me, and since he seemed interested in another, I went ahead and offered it to him.
Just want to make sure I'm doing everything right. Love that guy, as you well know from my endless "panicked" calls to you a few weeks ago! LOL
Also, should the vet do another fecal exam after the second de-worming just to make sure?
So many questions, I'm sorry!!!
