My First Post
Hi This is my First Post :
I have been purchased 7 Ball pythons All more than 1 Kg weight ..all in same time .. by bulk purchase and old morphs ( yellow belly , Spider,Mohave,Enchi)
I don't know if they are males or females !!
My question is :
If I leave my BPs without Cooling/warming ( brumation)
Do females will produce Unfertilized eggs ?
Because I don't know how to make ( Pop up) for them .. I am new to the hobby and need your help
Thanks :-)

Welcome !!
Seems as though part of your question didn't make it for some reason .
You can download the free TapaTalk app which is specially for keeping all your forums in one place , easy access BUT it's also very popular due to its great one touch photo uploading option ....

Re: My First Post
It is not clear what you are asking. It sounds like you are very new to keeping ball pythons and could use some very basic care advice - especially since you added 7 at the same time.
Please see this care guide: https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...s%29-Caresheet. If you have questions after reading this guide, please feel free to ask them here.

Re: My First Post
So, I'm not sure what you're asking here? Ball pythons don't brumate, and while some females HAVE laid eggs without having been introduced to a male (parthenogenesis) it's exceedingly rare, and temps as far as I know have nothing to do with it. It's just spontaneous.

Okay I think I just figured out that you are asking how to sex your pythons without popping them, and seem to be under the impression that you can induce females to lay unfertilized eggs through changing the temps. This is completely incorrect. The only two ways to sex a ball python is to "pop' it (expose it's reproductive organs by applying gentle pressure) or "probe" it (inserting a metal probe into the vent and measuring depth). If you have never done either of these things, find someone experienced who can show you in person how to do so, be it a reptile vet, a breeder, or whatever.

Re: My First Post
I think the question is if females will lay unfertile eggs without proper temperatures (the OP is having electrical issues and built a DIY rack that does not work).
OP - Yes, incorrect temperatures will negatively impact their ability to produce viable clutches. For the sake of the animals, get your care figured out before you try and bring more lives into this world that you will be responsible for.

As regards popping or sexing I wouldn't even consider trying if I were you .... if you simply HAVE to know their sexes you're better taking them to a retire vet or a reptile store who has someone qualified to sex them ...

Re: My First Post
1- I don't know if I have Females or Males BP
Have someone experienced sex them for you and teach you as well
2- I don't know how use props or popping ..
See number one, if you have limited experience chances are you will not be able to pop a 1000 grams snake, at that point they get more muscle control and only experienced owners effectively pop adults. Probing can be done but only by someone experience to prevent injuries.
3- Is BP will lay eggs every year whether there is males or no ..? Then I can know if it is Female ?
No they won't, while birds do, Ball Pythons do not.
