    Rack Renovation!

Well....my fiance brought up the point that we are getting married in 30 days and I don't really need to be spending money on building a new rack....so there goes that new rack plan.

So.....I decided to renovate my existing rack... I had built the old one using a hand saw and skrewdriver(i really like ball pythons )so it was a bit crooked. So I borrowed a miter saw and power drill and straightened everything out and added a new level....here is a pic: (old on left, new on right)

With the old setup, I had a hard time getting the tubs in and out so this time I left about a 1/4" gap above each tub to allow for settlement and easier tub movement....do you guys think that is too much of a gap?

Let me know what you think.....I know it does not look like that big of a change but the rack is alot more functional now.....ha ha I did this to save some money...but now I need to order some flexwatt and figure out what I want to put in the top tub

daniel, i wouldn't worry about the 1/4 inch gap as long as the snakes are big or adults. babies might try to get out though!
