Hanging at the top of the tub

Last week I noticed my snakes hanging at the top of the tub. They ball themselves in between the water bowl and the tub and hang there. Is this normal? Towards the top of the tub

Mine so similar. They will wedge themselves ontop of there hide into the lid of there tubs. But they only do that if they have made a mess they don't want to lay in. My enchi is better about getting out of the pee and water when she flips her bowl.

As a precaution triple check the temps in case it is too warm for them and they are trying to escape to a cooler location.
