My ball python was given to me by someone who could take care of him no longer, his tank has been the same as it was with his previous owner as i wanted him to get used to my house before i changed anything up. His enclosure is super basic, 2 hides (cool side, hot side) and a waterdish with some forest floor by zoomed. He stays in his cool hide like 95% of the time only coming out when i cleaning my other enclosures and even then its judt poking his head out. So, my question is; Do any of you have any tips for me to incite more movement? He is currently in a 20 long. I know for my carpet python who was doing the same thing that moving him for his 10gallon (he was a neonate) to his 40 breeder got him to start exploring and moving around. Id like to do the same thing with my ball python. Just want to get him comfortable enough to be out and moving around.
