My Mystic just laid Eggs!!! need a little help.

I went to feed all my snakes today and noticed my mystic was under her newspaper. When i pulled back the paper there was a nice white egg laying in the corner and she was coiled around several more. i have been reading about maternal incubation and artificial but i was wondering what would be best in my situation. as far as i know this is her first clutch and i have her in a 34 qt tub with newspaper for substrate, sitting on top of 6" heat tape. Her temps and humidity have always been well enough for perfect health and sheds. My question is, would it be safe to just let her handle things in a tub that size or should i go to tractor supply and buy an incubator and get that set up for the eggs? any help would be greatly appreciated. She had to have laid these eggs within the last few days.

Ultimately it is YOU choice however if you want to do maternal incubation you will need a subtrate that holds humidity such as coco coir chips or cypress mulch, while the humidity is perfect for shed, eggs require a much higher humidity.

Incubator from tractor supply are nothing more than styrofoam incubator however the thermostat should not be trust and you still need to invest in a RELIABLE thermostat such as herpstat so in all honesty you are better off to buy a styrofoam cooler and some heat tape rather than buy an incubator from tractor supply.

A reliable thermostat is the single most important piece of equipment for incubation the rest can be purchased for pretty cheap.

Not a problem. I've got a great herpstat 1 I can use. Will the heat tape heat through the styrofoam effectively? She has one egg outside the clutch but I just camdled it and it was bright pink with veins throughout so I think it just rolled away. This is her first clutch and I'd say she is roughlu 16-1650 grams. I don't know what to do with the egg that she isn't sitting on!

Sometime first timer will leave an egg or more out, sometime it is an infertile egg however an many cases it is not so incubating it is really what needs to be done, ad when you do make sure the egg is still in the EXACT same position, roll out are fine within the first 24 hours but after that if the egg is rolled out again or rotated it will not likely survive.

Ok I made sure I didn't roll the egg when I picked it up. I'm going to lowes right now to buy everything to make the incubator. Will that egg be alright over night or do I need to get them all in the incubator immediately?
