    not a very good shed

My baby bp "shed" about a week ago in patches. It was my fault because it wasnt humid enough. so I soaked her everyday through the shed to help her, but I dont think she has shed off her head yet and the beggining of her neck. I have still been soaking her everyday and spraying down her tank to make it more humid. What should I do?

Are you soaking for about an hour each time. By placing a snake in a small container with an inch or two of water, and secure the snake in the container. Then put it back into the cage on the hot side and leave for one hour. I throw a wash cloth in and then use it to gently rub off an retained shed. It worked like a charm, and only had to repeat once. (I only had a small amount of retained shed tho, plus it helped oodles with the next shed a week later!) Make sure you are able to measure the humidity too. The digital Accurite at Walmart is like $12 in the outdoor thermometer section. I hope this helps

Thanks! I was only soaking her for about 10 minutes. I think this will work well. Can I soak her like that even if she ate yesterday?

I'd wait till tomorrow to move her. I always wait 48 hours after a feed before handling. It's not that pressing, that it can't til tomorrow.
