Follicle Build? How does it look like?
I want to know how a female ball python undergo the "building" stage. I have this 1 year-old female that is having a small obvious bump on the 2/3 of her body. I'm sure it is not food because she stopped eating 3 weeks ago. I tried draping her down from tail to head and saw this little curving on the side. I have read from JD Contstrictors site, on how to check a build ( http://jdconstriction.com/how-to-kno...ure-expecting/ ) but I'm not really sure. She's always underneath her water bowl, maybe cool-seeking. Can you show me how a build looks like? Does the "bump" indicates a build? Thanks!

If it's pictures of the entire breeding process you're looking for, there isn't a better resource than Mark Mandic's Breeding Pictorial: http://ballpython.ca/breeding/.

This is a EXCELLENT link, thank you so much for sharing it !!
I have researched for a while, there are great write ups , and videos, but this pictorial is amazing. You can go back and forth and everything is explained (and shown) perfectly.
Definitely kept that in my favorites !!!

Thanks, friends. Now if only I could get each of the snakes to read it and follow along too.

Perhaps we should make them sit through a slide-show presentation

How would you like us to do that? Perhaps you could share a few good pictures of what you are seeing and we could offer our suggestions. Your description of a "huge bump on her belly" does not mean anything to us when we don't know what you're looking at.
Did you read the link I shared previously? Does she look like any of those pictures?
