He took his 1st fresh killed meal tonight!!

Well I am totally pleased with my little guy, in only his 2nd meal since bringing him home he took a fresh killed meal with no thought what so ever! I must be honest and say it wasn't as exciting for me to watch but the snakes safety is what counts so as long as he continues to eat pre killed then I'll keep on doing it.

Re: He took his 1st fresh killed meal tonight!!

congrats, i gave my new BP its 5th meal on saturday. her first meal was live just to get things rolling but sense then i have had her on pre killed adult mice. i see someone on here posted about a mouse biting there BP, i wouldnt want that to happen to mine even though it is very rare. i also dont have the heart to hear a little mouse squell but i do like to watch the feed. i was surprised when my BP took a mouse very agressive even with a shed coming on strong. good luck to u.

Congrats on the successful feeding! It's great to have a young snake starting off so well isn't it.
