Showing off some snakes to non-snake people!

Decided to go through my collection and show off all 20 snakes to some non-snake family members. I can't post all photos but here are some highlights!

Here's a photo of my 'snake necklace'! (Just a big normal ball python).

Here's 'Lucy' my big 50% Jampea Dwarf White Phase Albino Reticulated Python! My niece in law got the wet end and I took the sharp end HA!

    Holding the big normal girl:

My brother in law who does not like snakes, this is the first time he ever held a snake, he did great!!

Her favorite snake was 'Banana' my Banana phase California King snake female.

This is one of my personal favorites, she is a big Pied Ball Python female, will probably be ready to breed next year!

    Hope you enjoyed the photos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your brother-in-law has that look of half pride/half terror. Nice that you could put him at ease enough to give it a go.

Way to go Chard! Great looking snakes and great looking smiles as well!

Great to see your brother-in-law holding his first snake. I love the calm that comes over first timers when they realize "hey, this thing isn't slimy, and it isn't trying to eat me. Maybe snakes aren't so bad after all..."

Re: Showing off some snakes to non-snake people!

I did the neighbor thing last summer - took the ball and my hog island out to show one set of neighbors and my neighbors on the other side of our place came out to check them out. A very cool experience as everybody wanted to touch and hold the snakes. I show as many people as possible to give them the experience of handling these great creatures.
