    Getting males to lock females??

I introduced my 800 something gram male to my 2000 gram something female last week and didnt witness any locks. I seperated fed and reintroduced and still dont see any locks. I am currently doing 3 days in, 3 days out. They seem to stay close to each other in the tub and dont really seperate which seems like a good sign. I misted and put another males shed in. Any other tips to get them more interested or is it still too early to even be worrying about it? Thanks in advance!

(From a noob, my first pairing right now too) My male was showing zero interest when I introduced him to the female's tub. Turns out that when I introduced the female to HIS tub the last couple times, he showed interest and locked within a day both times. I'd also try waiting longer (maybe 7 days?) between introducing, assuming no locks, in case your male is stressed. Not sure if it'll help your guy, but it's worth a shot!

1 you only need one pairing a month there is no need to pair as often as you do

2 what can you tell me about the female, is she on the cool side? what is their position when you check on them? (close as the female wrapped around the male, or close as the male on the top of the female?)

3 because you do not see a lock does not mean nothing goes on, I used to have a male from which I never seen locks, needless to say he produced several clutches.

4 not all pairing will results in locks at first however it does not mean it's a bad sign, some males will only lock when the female start to develop follicle, do you know if your female is?

5 pair using the weather to your advantage, mist the tub, use substrate from a proven female, use the sperm plug and shed from another male.

1 lock per month or just put them together once a month? They both stay on the warm side and when i check they are either side by side or male on top. Last time i checked male was on top. She is currently off feed and i spoke to the breeder i purchased her from that said this could be due to follicle growth. They 100% could have locked and i just have not seen it, but this is my first pairing and wanted to make sure everythings good.

That all sounds quite promising. She could still be in the early stages of developing follicles. Is the male actively courting her (pressing down on top of her along her body, stroking with his spurs, rubbing his tail along her sides and trying to line up with her vent)? If he is then he is interested and should get there eventually.

Idk if he is stroking his spurs, but he seems to be, on top of her alot.

1 lock per month pairing lasting 2 days.

She could be of feed for various reason, being of feed is not a sign of anything, have you palpated the female? If the female on the hot spot or cool end when you open the enclosure? Female will gradually start to move toward the cool spot when building up they will also wrap themselves around their water dish.
