Food suggestions
So, I had Charlotte for close to a year now and I'm noticing she is a great eater. Which begs the question am I feeding her the right prey. I feed her frozen and she seems to love it. My question is about size. I've been feeding her rat pups and similarly sized mice. She'll take either no problem. But I wonder if maybe I'm feeding her too small an item. What do you guys think? She's about a year and a half old and well I'll add a pic to show her size.
Again I'm really curious as to what I should feed her now that she's gained some size.

Food suggestions
Hard to tell without anything to really contextualize the scale and size but based on the build of the snake, I would guess it could take a small rat probably. Good looking critter but a bigger meal certainly wouldn't do it any harm. Do you know her weight? Eric Alan has a really great snake to prey weight chart somewhere on a thread or two that's really useful for judging the prey size as the snake grows

Unfortunately I don't know her weight. I really need to get a scale.

Re: Food suggestions
Usually you should feed your snake a rat that is as big a round as the thickest part or your snake. Once they are big enough for a small rat you can usually stay with 1 small rat once every 7-10 days for the rest of it's life since they don't need the same amount of food intake as they do when they are babies and growing. You will only need to go to medium rats if you end up with a large female.

You could probably easily bump the size to weanlings or even small rats. The snake looks to be in good condition, but hard to tell how big she is without something in the picture for reference.
4 1/2 month old BP takes weaned rats.
Try a weaned one next time and if it leaves no "bulge" whatsoever, your snake may be ready for smalls. You could also try to make a picture with something for reference, like a soda can next to the snake.
