    Drambuie's eating!

Finally got her to take mice! She hasn't eaten for two months so I'm starting her off slow and offering a pink every 3-4 days if she'll have it, and monitoring her pooping closely. I had been trying rats (live, p/k and f/t) previously, and she snubbed them all, but I guess she's really into meeces. Not sure if this is the right subforum, considering this isn't a husbandry query anymore, but I figured I'd share a quick video I edited together of my little lady finally chowing down.

    Cute! Fitting music LOL

How have you been scenting the rat? I had a mouser, but kept offering heavily mouse-scented rat for half a year... And one day, he just decided to take it. And then it was on and off consistency for another half year or so, before he would take a rat every time without scenting.

haven't had the resources to try that yet as i don't often buy mice, all of m other snakes eat rats exclusively, but I might give it a shot!

    cute vid and BP.

but i hope you're not feeding her outside of her enclosure esp. not outside in the open like that each time. that would be very stressful esp. for a fussy baby. i hope see continues to eat for ya.
    RIP Mamba
