Issues with Inkbird Tstat and humidity controller

    Hi all,

    Has anyone ever had:

    1. The Tstat being set at say 90° but it is still getting hotter and not turning off and on to maintain the 90°? It just gets super hot and stays there? This is for a uth.

    2. Same with humidity conroller- instead of humidity turning off and on to maintain the 50%, it just stays on till 99%. And keeps going until completely fogged up.

    Does this sound familiar?

The humidity one is on the lower half of the side of the tank on the hot side.

The temp one is under the substrate. I need to move it under the tank, on top of the uth. But that shouldn't be an issue I think right? I feel like it's the controller being screwy.

Did you set the inkbird to have no differential? If you have have a 5 degree differential it won't turn off until it hits around 95. I have a 1 degree on mine and it's been working fine but you could have a defective probe or device.

You certainly do need to move it.
