    Exclamation -->*wierd behavioral question*<--

    This is probabaly nothing to worry about, but all of a sudden, my snake is acting wierd. He moved from the hot side (which was getting too hot- about 97 degrees or so) and is moving around and it's bright as day in my room (I've only seen him move around at day when I first got him. And this is the part that worries me the most. Every once in a while, he'll stick his nose in the bedding for about 3-5 seconds with his nose and neck at a 90 degree angle from each other. It looks like he is digging a hole right in front of his hide. Is he just starting to shed? Last night I looked at his eyes and they only looked faintly gray on the outsides, but he stilll let me hold him so he must be able to see. Is it possible that Olaf is really a female about to have babies? It is a W.C. that is about 20-24 inches long. Please help.

    Not at 24 inches long.

    Everything's all right. He is just shedding. I guess I have never seen a snake shed, but he's doing all right.
