T8 Set-up...Thoughts?

We currently have 1 bp. He's in an exo terra tank right now but we're going to be getting a T8 for him. We are also looking for a 2nd snake. We're not in a rush though, we're looking for 'THE' snake, not just a snake.

My question is:
Should I set up the full T8 for our current snake, then divide it and set it up for 2 snakes when the time comes?
OR
Should I divide it and set it up for 2 snakes from the start, then just put the new snake in when the time comes?

(Our current tank will be cleaned out and used for quarantine, "when the time comes" refers to after the quarantine when the snake is ready to go into its new home)

Me personally, I would set up 1 cage for 1 snake. Then during that 3-6 month quarantine, order a second T8 and you will be golden. T8s are a quick ship item so it should only take a month or so to get it so it will be plenty ready by the time the new snakes comes out of quarantine.
