    Question shedding

I just got a ball python, I was told he's probably 6 months old.
I was wondering when I should expect him to start shedding and how often it happens, Can you tell that I'm new to this?

First of all congratulations on your new snake!
If he's only 6 months then he will be shedding more often than an adult, how often? Well, they shed as they grow, even temporarly (like when breeding), so it all depends on the growth rate of your snake. But more or less it can differ from 30 to 50 days if i'm not mistaken, all results may vary.
