Normal Behavior? Also Foodie Suggestions
I was feeding Cookie a second mouse. I offered it to him as he was resetting his jaw. The other mouse was still on it's way down his belly, so I didn't think he would take it right away. As soon as he smelled it, he zeroed in on it and just like... stared at it. I'd movie to adjust my position for comfort and then he'd move and keep booping it. At some point he started shaking and booped it a bunch before he finally took it.
I missed the reptile show, where I was going to get a load of rat pups as well as large mice, and was going to attempt to move him over to rats. Petsmart only had medium rats and medium mice... but I had gone the day after Black Friday.
Is there a good, cheap, online source I can get them from? If there are family-business suppliers I know little about my area except what's online and there doesn't seem to be any.
(I wish snakes were sapient that they could voice what they want AND eat our food...and just take a drive thru order... McDonalds may be fatty and full of sodium, but they are SUPER convenient...)

Check craigslist ads, also look at your state reptile groups on facebook. I know Louisiana has one for exotics & reptiles. You can generally find ft feeders there or even live, but you'll just have to monitor him eating to make sure he doesn't get injured when you switch him to something that can bite, assuming he's not already at that size.
EDIT:
You can order online, however shipping kind of makes it questionable, unless you order some to last you awhile and you have to be careful with freezer burn.
