Question about humidifer

My snakes enclosure is in my boys bedroom. My boys have been sick the past week so I've had their cool mist humidifier running every night. I have it as far away from the snake as possible but I'm still wondering if it will effect the snake? Temperature and humidity have been pretty normal, within a couple degrees, when the humidifier is running. I haven't noticed him as active as usual but he's also in blue. I just want to make sure the cool mist humidifier isn't bad for him and, if it's it, I want to know so I can move his enclosure temporarily.

I don't know about cool mist humidifiers, but I keep two whole house humidifiers going in the house 24/7/365, since the geckos and bp's need humidity. As long as it's not blowing a cool mist directly on them, I don't think it would be a problem.

It is probably helping the snakes like it is the boys. As long as the humidity in their enclosure's isn't getting way above 70 degree's. It will help you cut down on having to mist as much. IMO

I figured as much. I just wasn't sure since it's cool mist. So far, it hasn't effected the temperature more than 2 degrees at most so I've just been monitoring that and if the temp drops too much, I'll adjust temporarily!

I said in my above post 70 degree's, I should have said 70% (percent) which is the measure for humidity, ( not degree's ) Sorry for my error. I remembered that this morning when I woke up and I was looking at my snakes humidity. But no it won't matter whether it is cool mist or vapor mist. But I think (IMO) for the kids sake and for better humidity, warm mist and vicks vapor rub on the chest, works better for the humidity and their colds. IMO only.
