I checked on my male ivory last night and noticed a dry brown patch on his side, I looked closer and the scales seem to be sticking up a bit and I also saw a little bit of blood smeared on the paper towels..

I don't know what scale rot looks like in the early stages but this seems to be it ?

If it is scale rot, how do I go about treating it? Just got to the vets and some antibiotics? Or something else?
