    Lowest ambient air temp

    Hi everyone,

I'm in the uk and it's the start of the winter,
Right now outside is in the high 20's low 30's

My lowest ambient tub temp is 75f
I am heating my room but it is struggling to get higher than 70f with my house being old with little insulation,

Would I be at risk of running into trouble?

    Thanks!

As long as you have a good hotspot the ambient at 75 will be alright.

Even being a tub you may try to insulate the sides of the tub to hold more heat.

Hotspots are around 88-92 throughout the racks, they are in close sided racks too

You should be good. A blanket over the rack may boost the temp a bit if you wanted to try it.

What are you using to heat the room?
If you are using an oil filled heater, have you moved it closer to the rack?

    Re: Lowest ambient air temp

I'm the UK too weather is bitter n cold, not going over 10c atm.. Can't feel my feet in the morning :/ Could always try a small eletric heater? Raise the room temp a little.. Or correct me if I'm wrong but I've seen people use foil (something like that) going up the sides of their rubs from the heatmat to warm it up abit
