6 out of 7 hatched. lol all normals.

I'm pretty sure the Pastel influenced some of them due to their pattern being similar to his... but they all came out as normals.

I'm pretty sure the normal snake had a hand in at least 2. (or hemipens. ^.~)

I haven't weighed one yet because it's amniotic sac is still attached though out of the egg and I rather keep it in the sterile environment to fall off than put it on the scale.

I tried to sex them, but it might be too early yet. I don't see any hemipens.

This is them pipping... all pipped without help.

This is all of them. The one at the bottom... that one I haven't weighed yet. The others are coming in at around 67 grams-71. (I've had a giant egg come in around 90 before. Still own him. He's my best eater yet.)

This one likes to escape a lot. Open the tub... wants out. Likes being handled. Tried to escape the till several times. Challenging the idea of calling them ball pythons. A lot like their mother.

The above snake also likes escaping. Scared me to death when it unfurled to the floor.

The same snake trying to escape here too... Total weight 335. for 5 of the 6. (Other one was still hatching.)

Sorry for the crappy picture. Reads 71.

    Congrats!

Never too early, it just take the right touch and if you have limited experience I always recommend that someone double check your first few clutches if in doubt.

Definitely some good looking normals. Some of them definitely seem to have Pastel influence. Congrats!

I usually do, but egg white coming out of the vents, might be better to wait a day or two until they absorb it. I'll give it another shot then... you know when they've absorbed it.

BTW, my normals with the pastels usually get this O-ring along the dorsal with this female/pastel. I have pictures of the Daddy and momma still and the alt daddy too.

It doesn't matter what comes out of the egg, always an exciting time. Congratulations on hatching some healthy looking babies.

Normal/normal and normal/pastel. This clutch wasn't intentional, otherwise I'd gotten half pastels, I think... Sometimes males really, really wanta have sex after a 3-4 year dry spell.

BTW,The one with the leftovers from the egg lost its umbilical cord naturally. Weighing in at the lightest at 55 grams.

I tried sexing all of them, but still not getting hemipens. =P Either I've lost my touch, or I'll just have to wait until they shed. Or they truly are all females.

I'm waiting for my cinnamon and offspring of this female and the pastel father to grow big enough to make me some cool looking pewters. I like having a super healthy weight on my snakes before breeding.

BTW, this is them pipping when they still were in the egg (This is always the cutest for me... I only cut at this stag if it looks like the way they cut the egg shell is difficult to get out of.):

I have a nice example of a butter. Better than any others I've seen.
