    Help. Female Inverted

I have only need ball pythons 1 time since I have been collecting. I was able to get 3 clutches. 1 with 13 eggs another with 9 and the last with 4. Incubation went well and all babies hatched healthy. But I have never witnessed any of my females "invert" like this. I have never kept her with any males but I did have her bunked with my adult female Sable (or so it was sold to me as). I never expected her to breed so I never felt for follicles but this behavior seems as if she is bulking is building

    Re: Help. Female Inverted

She's looking like she's about to lay IMO. I didn't breed my big Female last year, but she did the exact same thing, went inverted, and a day later she gave me 6 eggs. The sire was from the year before's breeding that she decided to hold back on.

I will have to check with the breeder today. Luckily I have an incubator set up from a few years back. Hopefully it's still works fine. Thanks

    Re: Help. Female Inverted

I have a female pastel who laid 7 eggs in April 2016 and she lays in the same inverted position. Sometimes it's a position of comort that they're seeking.
