    Made my first business move!!

So there is a local reptile store and the owner is nationally known. However, he is a little in over his head due to the amount of animals he has compared to the help that he has in the shop. Soooo. I spoke w him yesterday and we agreed that I would start volunteering weekly helping him finish some projects he has and just overall maintenance of the enclosures, etc... worked out PERFECT for me, because I will be breeding as soon as females are to size and he said he would definitely do business with me, as well as give me referrals AS WELL AS FREE FEEDER MICE AND RATS. Yay for me!! ... have a great day everyone and happy herping!

Re: Made my first business move!!

By the way, he doesn't breed his own BP's, mostly colubrids, chameleons, lizards, etc.. that's why I hope to start producing my babies as soon as possible (without overfeeding of course. They still have a long way to go.), so that he can purchase directly from me. That's the goal anyway, especially for the normals and less valuable ones that will hatch out.

I love the free feeder part, congrats!
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

Right on man. There is a few local petstores by me offered to take in my normals and buy some of my other morphs. One of the best things my father told me about business is make connections and use every advantage you can.

I go over and shoot the bull with a few breeders in my area. When I'm there I usually help because I have nothing else to do, not that they really need it or anything.
