Anyone ever tried Reptilinks for their snakes?

I've tried them for my beardie and she seems meh about the 50/50 bug/veggie/fruit blend. I'm wondering if anyone has tried them for their snakes? They offer quail/rabbit/venison and lots of other stuff and supposedly, its whole meat with organs etc. Says its more nutritious than rats and stuff. I never have, but a couple of people on http://cornsnakes.com have with mixed success.

There are species that will eat anything, kings, bullet however the chances of a of taking those are very slim, not likely gonna happen.

Also not a fan of feeding a food with preservative in it or a good that does not have a label with the full list of ingredients to one of my snakes

Don't bother for ball pythons, most don't take them.

I did get some for a young overweight boa I got last year; at the time she was too tiny to eat a rabbit kit and I wanted to give her low-fat meals. She has an off-the charts food response and had no issues with eating the links.

I was about thiiiiis close to trying them for a problem-feeder BP, because she seemed to be afraid of even f/t rodents, and if she didn't take them the carpets and the boa probably would.

eta: the BP finally started eating just before I ordered some reptilinks.

I wouldn't use them under normal circumstances for a snake, no, for fear of organ failure from undernourishment down the road. Although they claim their links have more nutrition than whole prey, comparing their values to Rodent Pro's charts, each nutrient has roughly half the value, and their total calorie count is only a fraction per gram of whole prey.

Might be good for lizards, but not suitable as a staple for snakes imo.

Yeah kind of figured that. That's why I was wondering if anyone has used them over a longer period. I tried for my beardie as a treat but she was "meh" about them and she loves to eat lol.

I wasn't aware they used preservatives. I've been feeding these to my animals for some time now as part of a varied diet. My indigo gets frog, quail, rabbit and their combo links. The pits and black-heads will eat anything I throw at them but mainly get quail and sometimes rabbit or a combo link of the two. Box turtles and tegus get rabbit or quail with fruit and veggie. My hogs take rabbit or quail links by themselves but more eagerly in the frog combo - to be fair, they're in the same boat as the aspidites and would eat a corroded battery if offered via tongs. The carpets seem to prefer rabbit but some will take quail or the rabbit/quail combo link. The timors will occasionally take a quail link but mine are shy critters that prefer whole food left overnight. My garters take frog links like they're going out of style, limited success with rabbit and quail. I never had a ball python show any interest in any of the links I offered. While I don't feed these exclusively, I do like to mix things up for many of my animals(especially those that naturally prey on a leaner diet in the wild) so they'll get a link every third or fourth feeding. The larger portion of my diets are whole and I offer quail, chicken, rat, mouse, fish, snake and egg.
