    Soaking

    I just got a new BP and he is soaking since I got him around 12:30. is this normal?

    It could be normal if he was dehydrated in his previous enclosure. It could also be an indicator of a mite issue. Did you do a thorough once over when you got him to make sure you didn't end up with more pets than you intended?

    I'd put him on paper towels and check for drowned mites in the bowl.
