Don't you wish they grew faster? ;)

Sometimes, I wish that my smaller BPs would just hurry up and grow to adult size overnight. I just keep wondering what they will all end up looking like.

Maybe I am just being silly, but C'mon, grow already!

Maybe it was just from a bowel movement? I know that some of those can be pretty big!

Re: Don't you wish they grew faster? ;)

LOL we are the other way. Our bp has grown so much in the short time we've had it that we can't believe it. I swear this snake is 2 or 3 times bigger in just under 2 months we've had her. We've had to enlarge her hide entrance holes...now we are considering new hides as she's lifting them right off the floor of the tub when she settles into her hide. We weren't expecting such a fast growth with her. We aren't overfeeding her or anything, 1 mouse every Monday night but she has already shed twice (2 weeks apart) and just seems to grow before our eyes LOL.

Re: Don't you wish they grew faster? ;)

I'm with Jo, my guy is growing like a freakin' weed, I can't believe how much he's grown in the past couple months. I too am having to start considering new hides. I already stole my German Shepherd's water dish to replace the one Olie was using in the tank since he loves hiding under it and was just getting too darn big for the little dish. Now I'm going to have to figure out some way to widen the hole for his cave hide, he's almost too big to use the door!

6 months ago I took him to the vet and she said he looked "thin and underweight"... oh, if she could see him now!
