Missing BP
I would appreciate any body's help on tracking down my brothers BP. Basically, he lives in one of those exo-Terra enclosures and somehow the tick got unlocked. He has been missing all day. We have completely taken apart his room and the surrounding rooms, as well as the hall way, and there has been no sign of any snake. I was thinking about luring him in with a heated container and a f/t mouse, but would like to hear any other ideas. I have checked the couches and dressers downstairs but am doubtful he got there. they sure can surprise you though. I plan to read more threads and continue searching into the night.

Re: Missing BP
Not sure how big the snake is but look in anything with a hole. My first thought when I read this was inside a couch, not under but up in. Heat vents would be my second go to. Any gaps in walls doors or windows? Pots pans or storage tubs? Anywhere that produces heat will probably be the snakes go to. Idk hope any of this helps :/ good luck in your search I hope it works out.

Re: Missing BP
check in very warm areas. I heard they can be found behind or under washers and dryers, also fridges. just look anywhere with heat or that's super dark and cramped. they can be sneaky-snoos
I'm sure someone else with more ideas will post soon too!

Re: Missing BP
There was a small hole in the wall that I didn't give much thought too a) because it looked a little high for a bp to get into and b) I didn't want to think much of the chances for us getting him back if he managed to get in there. Now that you mention it there are many dark and tight places for a bp to hide...
If he happens to be in there, any ideas to lure him out? For all I know though he could be lost in there it's a relatively large area.

You could try luring him out with a rodent. I'd put the rodent in a cage so he can't grab it and leave, and keep an eye on the area.
I had a gecko escape once and found him in the wrapping paper because I could hear him in it. You might want to try putting wrapping paper or plastic bags out so you can hear him if he moves around.

That's a good plan. I'll put out some water and set a mouse out tommorow along with some paper. Right now I need to sleep.
Do you know of any containers hell be able to get in but not out?

We used to use minnow traps to catch snakes where I grew up.
