When buying a used rack, how do you clean it/disinfect it for mites and whatnot?

I think I might nab a 12 tub hatchling rack that's wired with heat tape for $75.
For those who have gotten used reptile equipment before, how do you disinfect it/kill off mites or other potentially harmful things on it? What's your process?

And should I keep the 12 used six quart tubs, or do you think I should just get new ones? Does it matter?

You can run the tubs through the dishwasher to clean them.

Used caging I leave outside and clean with Chlorox (or generic) wipes, rinse, and let dry. Then I spray with 100% ammonia (because no other disinfectant kills crypto), let sit for an hour, rinse, and let dry.
