    Aspen in Bulk

Does anyone know where a good source of bulk aspen might be in the Grand Rapids MI area?
I have been to places like Tractor Supply & Family Farm and Home. Did a little web looking.
Not much coming up. I had a little bag from a kit I bought a while ago and thought I would give it a try since I was out of cypress mulch.
Seems to work well so I wanted to stick with it for a little bit. I have 5 snakes to care for. One is on reptichip at the moment.

    You can get from Amazon.

Also, at some of the reptile shows, at least in my area vendors carry bags similar to that.

This is what I use. Works great. Shipping is a killer but I live close to them so I just pick up 3-4 bails twice a year. http://beanfarm.com/product_info.php...oducts_id=5303

Do you guys use aspen bedding for Ball Pythons? I've heard you shouldn't because it doesn't retain humidity, but I'm getting tired of paying $30 for a not so big bag of cypress mulch.

Any type of bedding can be used what is important is to find the one that works for YOU, based on the type of enclosure you have, where you live etc.

Sure if you live in AZ for example and have a glass tank with a hear lamp chances are Aspen won't be that great.

It's all about trying and see what works.
