Ultrasonic pest repellent devices safe for python?
I've had a couple people tell me how effective these ultrasonic things are that plug into an outlet, at keeping out spiders and such from their homes. One of these people owns a bearded dragon which doesn't seem to be bothered by the device. But both people said, and cursory research confirms, that these can bother pet gerbils, rabbits, and such. Do any herp keepers here use ultrasonic pest repellent, or have experience with them? If so, can you recommend a brand? It occurs to me if these work so well and are safe for herps, they could help with mite prevention also.

Hey, I have the same question. Did you ever find out?
I have amphibians too as well as reptiles. Also wonder if they will affect incubating eggs nearby.

No, no one ever responded, and I haven't bought the device since I'm still concerned on this question. If you decide to try it, please let me know how it goes!

We have one in our house to keep out the rodents during the winter. My collection hasn't been affected at all even though the device is in another room but still I think it only has an affect on mammals for whatever reason.

You might have to test it out and let everyone know how it works. I personally question how great these actually work but i've never tried them, but i am curious to hear about your results.
