Back from the expo with a question

I left the NARBC expo with two snakes and a few questions that other visitors posed.
a calico pinstripe I have dubbed Rufus.

as I walked around with my snake some asked me if the calico pinstripe was discounted due to a deformity. Perhaps i have missed it? i think he's neat either way and he won't be leaving. The same person asked if pinstripe was known to have facial deformities . Honestly I haven't heard it and was curious if that is in fact an issue. So glad i found him he's such a cool snake.

another question for those familiar with the calico gene . true or false does the pink turn white? they seemed convinced he was a super stripe which was funny...considering i also had a superstripe with me..

I know he's young but how much white if any would you expect to see as he starts to grow?
Do you think there is another gene at work?

pictures taken as i was setting him up.

Looks fine to me. If anything he just looks way too small to be at a show imo. The pink will turn white as he gets older yeah.

Something looks weird about his face but I'm not sure if it's just the coloration making it look wrong or if it's the structure.

He's a real nice looking calico pinstripe, I don't think there are other genes involved. And his snoot does look a little wonky, but just barely enough to be noticeable. Not so much a deformity as variation I think. It's cute!

No other genes. The head look small/short.

Can you take a close up of just the head, view from the top and view from the side.

To me it looks like he has a thick lower jaw and maybe a bit thick at the front of his nose too? Though if it doesn't interfere with how he eats, I don't think it's an issue..
