New BP Day.

Picked up a cool little Pastel Yellow Belly female today. I got her from On The Ball Pythons here in San Antonio. JT was great to work with. I'm pretty stoked. It's been a long time since I kept ball pythons. I just brought her home and put her in the tub so she could relax so I didn't take any pics but this is one of the pics he sent me.

So far so good. She was eating live hoppers prior to coming to me and she took a f/t small mouse last Wednesday and another tonight. Tonight she grabbed the mouse by the belly and held on for a while. Then she let it go and picked it back up by the head and ate it. I hope she keeps it up. She seems to spend most of her time in one of the hides. I haven't handled her as much as I'd like yet. I'm really trying to ensure she adjusts so I'm keeping things as simple and stress free as I can right now.

nice! congrats on the lil cutie and welcome back to the world ob BP's. JT is great. the lil boy i got from him took f/t hoppers right off the bat with me and has never looked back. he never misses a meal and has turned into a plump lil guy (even tho he poos and pees alot). i wish you just as much success with your girl.

Yay congrats. She looks beautiful from that pic. This is our new baby. Horrible pic but I didn't want to mess with her much this week.

My little girl is still doing pretty good. She is eating well and just shed the other day. No issues there. She looks at lot smaller in the pics than she really is. I weighed her on the day of those pics and she was 97 grams. I didn't have a scale when I got her so I don't know how much she has gained but she is def longer. I couldn't be happier with her progress! My girlfriend is really warming up to her. She checks her temps and changes her water. We went from deathly afraid of anything with scales to actually holding her so I'm stoked!
