    Took the plunge today

So tonight I finalized a deal on a 100% het sunset male from brad boa reptiles
I am so excited to be able to get in on this project and so thankful that brad was willing to work with me to get this snake
I know that I am still a long way from producing sunsets but am that much closer
Pics to come after i get him
He will be going to my clown, ghi, red axanthic and pied projects. Cant wait to get him

Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.

Good luck yo. I'd hate to play with the 50/50 odds personally but the payback would be well worth it.

Yea not looking forward to holding back 20 or more females that are 50% hets but hey I have to start somewhere and even a 50% het is omg expensive for a het
I hope they still command a good price when i start producing

Congrats! It may be tedious at first with all the pos het breedings but I'm sure it will all be more than worth it once you hatch your first visual. I saw a visual sunset at my local reptile expo a week or so ago and it just blew me away! Can't even begin to imagine sunset clowns, or sunset pieds!!

And I'm sure they will still be commanding a good price by the time you start to produce, it's still a very young project with few people in it, and recessives tend to hold their value better than codoms.

Kudos! That's quite the long-term project. See you on the other side in a few years!
