I tend to think the grey cap on their heads is more muted with a dose of the pastel gene. I've also heard some people say that as babies they have a faint yellow stripe down the back and that when they're older, if held up next to a normal super mojave, they're slightly more yellowish in tint.
But I've never had the opportunity myself to compare them side by side.
I don't think she's talking about a super mojave necessarily , just a BEL with mojave like a lesser MOJO. Yellow striping is hit and miss in most BEL combos so I wouldn't go by that. I also don't have a definite answer and am currently wondering the same thing with a few hatchlings.
Re: Difference between Pastel Bel and bel (mojave lines) in looks?
I'm in the same boat as you HannahLou ,I just hatched two BELS from a Pastave x Lesser pairing. So far I can't find anything on this, maybe someone with more experience will chime in.
