Check it out.
And a view from the front.
Closeup of my tank, because it looks pretty awesome.
And my pied in his favorite hide.
For the curious this is an adjustable storage rack with heat tape. I wanted something that would be easy to put together with minimal tools (since I don't have a garage/workspace) and hold a lot of weight. It's also versatile, which is great for my needs because I wanted a grow up rack. This thing can hold anything from 6qt tubs up to 41qts. I'm gonna share my materials list, though I know the storage rack has gone up in price since I bought it.
Sandusky/Edsal 36" x 72" x 18" storage shelf - $42.90 (I only used half the height)
Heat tape w/ connectors - $37.48 (Reptile Basics, had them connect for me)
2" x 30' Foil tape - $3.35 (good ol' Home Depot)
Tubs - $30 (Target and Wal-Mart)
I also used some aluminum foil I had lying around the house to insulate levels 2-4. Maybe $1 worth?
Total - $114.73 ~ ish
Not bad, huh? Less than $30 per level and it holds my 40gal breeder on top.
