    Cool Super Proud Momma!!!

We rescued Yzma in July and her first shed with us two weeks later was perfect, even though it was 3 pieces.

She just finished an 11 day shed process, (her second shed with us,) and it is one, long, 3.5 foot piece!!! I think she crawled out of her own mouth! It has the eye caps and vent hole! Little tail tip is there too. I'm keeping this one!! They only thing missing was the giant poop that usually comes with it, lol.

I was going to clean her enclosure 11 days ago when I noticed the pink belly, so I just left it. When I clean her enclosure out tonight, I will check that there's no skin left on her spurs, but I'm pretty sure she's good.

I'm wrong!! I measured the skin and it's 3 feet 11 inches, and it's dry so shrunk a bit. I'd say she's 4 feet long!!

Awesome! I'm glad she is doing good! I would save that one. Idk if anyone saves sheds but the first good shed of a new snake I save and then I'll wait for some more sheds and save another and so on. Probably sounds weird but I really enjoy being able to look at them and see where they started and how much they have grown lol.

I thought I was the only one who did this lol!! I save all of our ball pythons: 1st shed with us (we have no hatchlings at this point as we will not start breeding until 2017, but when we do, I will keep their first baby shed.) then I keep their sheds every other time and label them in a zip lock and file them so that I can see their growth.

Fiance thinks I'm a nut.. But it's cool!

    To OP:
Beautiful shed!! Your bp knew it was too pretty to poop in

    Thanks everyone!!

Yeah, my friends are weirded out that I'm keeping it, hahahaha. Oh, and I cleaned her enclosure and came back later to find a big three log poop!!!!! She waited until everything was clean, lol.

After cleaning the enclosure, we put her in and she went right to her tree like, "My treeeee! I missed my treeeee!" (Since she hid for the entire 11 day shed process.)
