was the last excrement dark like regular poop or white and chalky (which would be urates)? warm soaks seem to help with hard, impacted bowels. u could try that again but don't keep him in too long if he seems stressed. keep him on paper towel substrate to monitor his waste until u can get him to the vet.
also the abrasion looks like nose rub. what type of enclosure is your BP in? have u noticed it rubbing its snoot against something in the enclosure or walls/door/lid trying to escape?
RIP Mamba

The last excrement was hard and brown with some urates. He is in a sterilite tub and has a plastic reptile basics black hide. He remains hidden the majority of the time I'm around but I don't think there is anything in the tub that he could rub against.

I don't know what those weird kink-like areas are, but it doesn't look normal. I'd be calling the vet and sending pictures... But I hope you'll update the thread whenever you do hear from the vet!

Poor baby.
My ball was terminally constipated - (I don't know how, as she always had water available and her humidity was ok.) and the feces hardened and stuck to the walls of her bowels and she needed a procedure done. That may be the issue near the cloaca?
Rule out that it's not in a shed before freaking out but If it's belly turns pink or darkly discoloured there is a built up of toxins and it is an emergency and try to get the vet to take you right away.
You may also want to palpate it (search how on this site).
Please do keep us updated.

Thanks for your input everyone. I turned up the heat a little in the rack and will be monitoring him. My vet won't be back in town until next Tuesday but I have an appointment first thing in the morning. But I'll keep everyone updated on his condition.

Sorry for the delayed response. We chose to not take the little guy to the vet. I contacted the breeder and ended up sending him back. My local shop owner believes it was a digestive problem but there was really no way to be sure without veterinary help. It pained me to have to send him back but I believe it was for the best. He had problems before he came into my possession and I kick myself for not looking a little closer. Thank you everyone for your concern though, I appreciate it.
