    The Snake Who Lived

Well my first clutch of five eggs is in the books. Unfortunately four out of the five eggs ended up dying. Three normals/black pastels (I couldn't tell the color) that stopped developing before they hatched and one black pastel pied that was tangled in the umbilical cord.

However, with all that bad luck, I'm still so excited because last night the only surviving snake came out of it's egg and is absolutely perfect. I can't wait to see it after it sheds. It's a pastel pied like it's mother.
