    New display tank for Cake!

Display tank for Cake! The humidity anywhere in my home is within 60~70%, so even with the screen top glass tank, it works great and looks great! Ambient temperature in my house is also 79~81 in this room as well, making the ambient in his tank about 83~85 on the temp gun, just with a heat pad. Hot spot maintained within 88~91, with a good temp gradient spread around. Just perfect. I thought I'd have a harder time maintaining a glass tank. We live on the coast of southern California.

    Some pics!

Nikon photos... lifted the hide off of Cake.

He's getting big! I've passed on a couple albinos now because of Cake. Just didn't come close to comparing to him.

    Thanks!!

Aw Dave I haven't seen albinos like him often either, back when I was browsing for a female to breed...
And then there's Morton Wright's albinos, which are just awesome.

Nice setup! Cake looks great! I use one of those Exo-Terras for my BRB using dirt substrate and live plants. Works really well!

Thanks! Yes, I thought he looked like a lemon cake. And my name happens to be Fiona... 100% coincidence to Adventure Time that I only realized afterward when someone mentioned it, I swear...

What size exo terra do you have for the BRB? That sounds super neat, and I thought about doing something like that before... What plants do you use that won't get crushed?

He is super chill. :'D I watched him come out to explore his new place the first day that I had it set up. It's super cute. He poked around, sniffing the new things with his tongue for almost an hour, especially the foam back wall (which he's never seen before), crawling over the branches. And when he was finished, he returned to his hide, and has never come out since... LOL. But he has been in shed in the past few days, so I think that's why!

OMG. I wish the inside were actually white or lemon instead of red. This is so morbid looking LOL! (and a good photoshop too- didn't realize it until I looked again)
