    Second shed went perfect

Baby's second shed last week surprised us a bit being so soon after her first shed with us but it went perfectly fine. No need to soak this time, it came off complete. Thanks again to you Adam for the advice about putting the humid hide in there earlier this time around, we really feel this was the key to getting a nice complete shed with no help needed (okay so I may have quietly cheered a bit but heck that's just me!) LOL

    Good to hear!

Humidity really is KEY in good sheds. Glad it was effortless.

I noticed Benny (the REAL Benny not the one i keep misidentifying everytime i see him in the shop graphics and icon lol - thats actually Henry) shed yesterday - left it in the corner like discarded pantyhose - along with the requisite "pile" lol.

Congrats Joanna! I'm sure there must of been a few happy dances in there too! I'm so glad to hear baby is doing so well. I know perfect sheds aren't the pinnacle of snake keeping, but it's still so cool! It's awesome just looking at the shed with the eyecaps Now you have something for future show and tells!

    Re: Second shed went perfect

I didn't save it. It was complete but a bit crumpled and balled up so I just admired it greatly and tossed it LOL.

Yep humid hides rock and getting it in there faster was the key. There had been a few scales left on the flat of her head from last shed but they came off with this shed. Still seems wierd she shed twice in just over 2 weeks but she is growing like the proverbial weed.
