    Switching Enclosures

Hi! So currently I have two ball pythons, both in aquariums currently, and I'm planning to get two more bp's at the NARBC expo on October 16th (crazy excited for that!!!) And I was wondering since this is way before hand would it still be appropriate on moving everyone into tubs? I have nearly everything to set up, which I don't plan on setting up until 10 days before the expo. I also don't plan on moving my two current bp's until the day I get the two new babies as well. So I guess me summarizing is would it still be beneficial moving over to tubs as early as only having 4 or should I wait until my collection grows? My kind of mindset towards is that it shouldn't matter that much as long as the animals have everything they need/want, so maybe sooner is better than later? Sorry this all was kind of scatter brained, but I would just love some input .

    Thanks so much!

    Re: Switching Enclosures

I would switch to tubs now. I started by using aquariums and switched to tubs and just found it much easier to maintain!

    Re: Switching Enclosures

I switched to tubs also when I got more then 1. It is so much easier to deal with. It's easier to heat, clean, and keep the humidity up. Just do it now.

Thanks so much, of course I've informed myself of all the pros and cons, so I knew making the switch was gonna be the right choice, I just wasn't sure it was good to do it so soon. Again, thanks so much!

I'd do it now too. It'd be better for them to go ahead and get adjusted to the change now, rather than you changing their enclosure at the same time as you bring home 2 more. That way rather than dealing with 4 stressed out BPs at once you can deal with 2 at a time haha
