    and so it begins!

    i have my first ever clutch in the incubator, and i cut 4 of the 10 eggs last night

    checked on the clutch this morning, and the first baby had it's head peeking out

    the first one to peep out died

    shot some pics to a few much more experienced breeders i know and they both said it was because the baby did not absorb the yolk properly


    nothing i could have prevented, but i still feel terrible about it
