    Scabs on her head

Hello there. I was handling my Ball Python today and I noticed some strange scabs on her head. They look like small scars, like burning or something like that, but that's not an option. It's impossible she got burnt as the light bulb is completely protected and the iron cage that protects it doesn't get hot enough.
She is due for shedding soon, not sure if this has anything to do with it, I doubt it.
She eats live mice, but they are quite small and I'm always keeping an eye when I feed her. I would have noticed if they bit her and even if they did, they are small mice, don't think they are able to do something like this.
Has anyone seen something similar? Can you advise?

    Below a few pics.
    Thanks!

not sure what caused it, but those scales are damaged.

my Mojo boy was bit on the head when he was a baby.

it will heal and repair itself after a few good sheds.
    RIP Mamba
