Baby BP not pooping

Karma hansnt pooped in a month and some weeks, going on 2 months actually. She's on aspen, but there's no way that she'd impacted. She's fed outside of her enclosure just to avoid impaction. She has been eating every week, two small mice.

Should I be worried or is she just waiting to drop a load on me?

Just wait for it. Babies have a high metabolism, so chances are yours is just using a bigger percentage of the meals to grow than an adult would.

just wait for karma to poop,But if your worried you can soak her in luke/warm water in a tupperware dish.

Don't soak her, it will just stress her out. When My snake was young, she would only poop right after a shed. As Eric mentioned, they have a high metabolism, and at a young age, they break down the prey and their bodies consume most of it, so there really isn't much waste at all that is produced from a meal.

Also, just an FYI, It is better for your snake to feed them inside their enclosure.

Two small mice depending on the size of the animal might not be enough. How big is your BP?

Also keep in mind that young animals utilize most of the prey item for growth so if the food intake barely meets their needs due to their high metabolism it leaves little to nothing to eliminated.

DO NOT SOAK your BP unless there is a reason too, that means blockage which would be visible (persistent bulge near the cloaca that is not going away) even than bath are not necessary as you can help by slightly massaging the waste out of our snake - Again only if necessary.

I actually did end up soaking her around when I started to get worried, but I don't think it stressed her out too much. She ate fine the next day.

As as for the mice, I'm really just trying to get rid of them. I was planning on getting a smaller BP, so the prey size is a bit small for her which is why I always offer her two, sometimes she'll eat two and sometimes she'll only eat one.

They poop when they poop . Unless she has swelling or seems bloated, don't worry about it.

I bet it'll be epic when she does drop it .
