Love bite?

So my spouse's sister has a ball python but she's afraid of it now because it bit her. But here's the strange thing. It wasn't a strike. It just slowly turned its head while she was holding her and just kinda nomed her. It was while she was placing it in the feeding tank so we are guessing it was cuz she was hungery but it was really weird cuz she did not seem aggressive at all with the bite and I've never heard of a non-aggressive snake bite. Anybody have any idea about this?

No reason to use a feeding tank. It's less stressful for the BP and greatly reduces the chances of an accidental feeding bite.

Moving to another location to feed is not needed and a good way to get bit.

In concurrence with everyone else. No need to feed separate they'll differentiate between your hand and a mouse/rat heat signature. The separate feeding tub with aggression when putting your hand in is a myth.
