I have started to learn that my 5yr old son has an incredible memory. If a child came up to you and said that an alligator used to be male but now it's a female, you would assume they've got a vivid imagination. Well at least that's what I thought. We were at the zoo in the reptile house (of course) when my son told me this and I proceeded to explain that that doesn't happen to alligators, maybe some frogs and fish but not alligators. Well it appears I was wrong. At a school trip to the zoo he was accurately told that the alligator which was male while in the egg had been turned into a female (with the help of hormones). Just thought it was funny that I'm being corrected by my five year old. I thought I had a least a couple more years before that started to happen.
